Summer Events:

Thank you to everyone who came to the Service Day and Pool Party on June 4, 2008. Also a big thank you to Mrs. Roberts for having us to her house! It was a fun day of fellowship and service together.

  • July 2 - Houston Zoo
  • August 6 - Splashtown

What do I believe...What does the Bible say...What does that have to do with me...Who am I...How am I going to live my life as a Christian..IDENTIFY helps junior high students IDENTIFY the world around them.

  • Fun times, small group studies, Bible classes. Parenting classes too for the parents!
  • Jr. High Sunday mornings at 10:30 a.m.
  • Wednesday nights IDENTIFY  at 7 p.m. in the Family Center.

What is Confirmation?

  • Traditionally in the Lutheran church, it is that time in the Junior High students life when they study biblical doctrines and publicly “confirm” their personal faith in Jesus Christ.
  • At Salem, we consider this to be the springboard for a child’s spiritual life. Retreats, conferences, mission trips, and regular youth nights all combine to germinate and strengthen a teenager’s relationship with the Lord.
